We are looking to employ technical staff on a part time basis to work weekends at our base of operations within the Nissan Manufacturing Plant.
Salary: Based on qualifications held and previous experience
Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent, Part time
The ideal candidate will have passed an apprenticeship or equivalent with either an electrical or data specialism. They must be proficient with all types of plastic and steel containment expected within a commercial and industrial environment.
A strong candidate will have enhanced these competencies with completion of further training such as C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 and/or relevant work experience.
Successful applicants will be expected to have previously worked within an industrial environment and be familiar with safe systems of work.
A nationally recognised safety passport and an IPAF would be advantageous.

We are looking to employ a testing electrician on a full time basis to work at our base of operations within the Nissan Manufacturing Plant.
Hours of work: Shift pattern consisting of nine days on and five days off
Contract type: Permanent, Full time
As part of our technical delivery team you will be responsible for electrical installation and testing mainly within an industrial environment, but commercial and domestic work may be required. Due to the multi-skilled nature of our business you will also have the opportunity to carry out work within our data, AV and security infrastructure teams.
Our head office is located in Sunderland with the majority of our work taking place throughout the North East of England which you will be required to travel to using our fleet of vehicles. A full UK driving licence is therefore required.
The ideal candidate will have passed an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, have a thorough knowledge of BS7671 and and be familiar with safe systems of work. They will have enhanced these competencies with completion of the electrical testing qualification C&G 2391 or C&G 2394/2395 and have demonstrated competence within this field.
Successful applicants will be expected to have a minimum of two years experience, preferably working within commercial and industrial environments and be proficient with all types of plastic and steel containment expected within these locations.
A nationally recognised safety passport, an IPAF and experience in building management systems would be advantageous.

You will be expected to work a shift pattern consisting of nine days on shift followed by five days off shift. The working hours are Thursday to Sunday 08:00 to 18:30 followed by Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30.
The starting annual rate of pay for a testing electrician is £29,120 and employees are entitled to 240 hours of annual leave including bank and public holidays.
